5. Visiting the website and server logs

So that the pages reach you, the web server processes, as technically necessary, your IP address, date and time, the address requested, the browser type and the amount of data transferred.

We do not store access logs for vidipos.com. If a technical error occurs, the web server writes an entry to an error log, which may contain the IP address; these logs are rotated daily and deleted after 15 days at the latest.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure and functional website).

6. Cookies

We set exactly one cookie, and only if you choose the language using the switcher:

  • lang – stores your language choice (German or English) so that the website starts in that language on your next visit. Storage period: 12 months.

The cookie is strictly necessary for the function you requested (§ 25 para. 2 no. 2 TDDDG) and is set without consent. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. You can delete cookies in your browser at any time.

7. Contact by email or phone

When you write to us or call us, we process your details (such as name, email address, phone number, business and your message) in order to answer your enquiry.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (enquiries relating to a contract) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering other enquiries).

8. Support via WhatsApp

On request, you can also reach our support via WhatsApp Business. We only use this channel if you contact us through it yourself; email and phone are always available as equal alternatives.

WhatsApp is provided by WhatsApp Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland, a company of the Meta group. When you use it, WhatsApp processes among other things your phone number, profile name, timestamps and device data as well as the content you send us; messages are end-to-end encrypted. A transfer to Meta Platforms, Inc. in the USA cannot be ruled out; Meta is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR). The WhatsApp privacy policy also applies.

Please do not send PINs, login details, tax numbers or other tax data via WhatsApp.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (support for your contract) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering your enquiry through the channel you chose).
Storage period: we delete the chat history once your enquiry has been dealt with conclusively, after 3 years at the latest; statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

9. No external services

The website does not load content from other servers: no fonts, no scripts, no maps, no videos, no social media buttons. The website itself does not transfer data to third countries; for support via WhatsApp, the section above applies. Links to other websites (such as VidiReserve) are plain links; only once you follow them does the privacy policy of the respective site apply.

10. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21).
