POS system for service businesses Service done.
Cleanly paid.

In a salon, a studio or a practice with self-paying clients, you usually take payment at reception, one customer after another. The VidiPOS counter till fits: one device, your services as items, vouchers and card payments, plus receipts with verification QR and a closing that balances quickly in the evening.

What counts at reception

Reception is calmer than a counter, but just as exact. Every service should appear on the receipt at the right price, vouchers are redeemed, many pay by card. And anyone who uses an electronic till needs a TSE for it, receipts with mandatory details and a clean daily closing.

Services as items

You create your services as items in the back office, for example “Haircut short”, “Haircut long” or “Manicure”, with price and tax rate. Product groups such as “Cut”, “Colour” and “Care” form the tabs of the till. Each service is ready there as a colour or photo tile, frequent ones at the top as a favourite.

Which tax rates apply to your services, you clarify with your tax adviser; VidiPOS calculates with the rates you store.

  • Variants, for example for short, medium and long hair, in one item
  • Options with a surcharge, for example for an additional treatment
  • Miscellaneous items where you enter the name and price yourself
  • Care products to take home as items of their own, with stock if you like

Paying: cash, card, voucher

You redeem vouchers directly when paying. For card payments you pair a SumUp Solo or a Stripe Smart Reader. The Solo connects to the SumUp cloud via Wi-Fi or mobile network, not via Bluetooth to the tablet; so it can sit at a different spot. The payment lands on the receipt without retyping.

If the reader is offline, you take payment on another device and record it in the app as “Card external” with a note.

Receipts, cash book and Z report

Every receipt carries all mandatory details, the TSE data and the verification QR code. After payment, the till also shows a QR code for the digital receipt: the customer scans it and has the receipt on their phone or as a PDF. It is sent by email only on explicit request, and the address is not stored.

Money that enters or leaves the till without a sale, you book as a cash movement, for example a purchase with a till receipt. At the Z report you count the cash; the till compares the total with the expected amount and books any difference as a cash difference. Reports, CSV and DATEV export are then ready in the back office.

Courses and appointments with VidiReserve

VidiPOS is part of the VidiReserve platform. If you offer courses or workshops, your customers book their place there online; for that you add the “Events, classes & series of dates” module in VidiReserve. You enter your own appointments in the calendar, with a push reminder to your team if you like. Till and bookings share the same back office.

The right plan: counter till

The counter till costs €29.90 net plus VAT per till and month, with exactly one device. On top come €199 net per till and year for cloud TSE, fiscal compliance & digital receipt. Floor plan, courses, split bills, discounts and reservations are not included; vouchers, card payments, cash book and X and Z reports are.

You get help through the help centre and by email. All prices are on the pricing page.
